MoDOT is conducting a workshop for Local Public Agencies (LPA) that have projects programmed in the FY 2024-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). However, anyone interested in learning more about how to deliver a federal-aid transportation project is welcome to attend. Topics include consultant selection and contract management, environmental requirements, land acquisition, plan, specs, and estimates development, advertising for bids, and contract award. Also included will be information on the importance of utility and railroad coordination prior to the start of construction. East-West Gateway Staff will discuss Reasonable Progress of projects and the importance of staying on schedule. Project sponsors with a federal funds programmed in FY 2024 of the TIP are strongly encouraged to attend.
