Local Public Agency Project Workshop – Design

MoDOT is conducting a workshop for Local Public Agencies (LPA) that have projects programmed in the FY 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program.   However, anyone interested in learning more about how to deliver a federal-aid transportation project is welcome to attend. Topics include consultant selection and contract management, plan, specs, and estimates development, advertising for bids, and contract award. Also included will be a short-course presentation on Threatened and Endangered (T&E) Species in LPA Context. Following the presentation, attendees will have the option to participate in a field exercise to gain insight into habitat assessment for various T&E species. The field exercise will be along the Fee Fee Greenway immediately adjacent to the Maryland Heights Community Center. The field exercise is weather dependent – dress appropriately.
