East-West Gateway’s Safe Streets and Roads for All
Application Workshop – May 10, 2024

East-West Gateway (EWG) and consultant, CBB, are conducting a workshop to walk through applying for a United States Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant. In 2022, EWG received SS4A funding to develop a comprehensive safety action plan for the St. Louis region, and the action plan can be used by entities under EWG’s jurisdiction to apply for Planning and Demonstration Grants in 2024, 2025, and/or 2026 or Implementation Grants in 2025 and/or 2026. EWG’s action plan, Gateway to Safer Roadways, will be completed in June of 2024.

SS4A projects are selected by the USDOT and any successful grantee would work directly with them. This workshop is intended for Local Public Agencies in the EWG planning area with an interest in applying for SS4A grant funding. For more information on the workshop, contact Joanne Stackpole at jstackpole@cbbtraffic.com and for more information on the SS4A program, visit https://www.transportation.gov/grants/SS4A.
