In September 2019 the Water Resources Committee (WRC) met in Bella Fontaine Park in Bellefontaine Neighbors. Patrick Owens of Great Rivers Greenway (GRG) led the WRC on a walk and talk along GRG’s Maline Greenway located in this St. Louis County park. The tour highlighted the stormwater management and green infrastructure projects that were recently completed along the Maline Greenway by GRG. The work included planting willow stakes along the bank of Maline Creek and installing new bridges.
