Paratransit Advisory Committee:

The Paratransit Advisory Committee (PAC) is an advisory body to East-West Gateway and other policy-makers on strategic planning and project programming for special transportation services. Representatives of the City of St. Louis, St. Louis, Franklin, Jefferson and St. Charles Counties, major state funding agencies, Metroy, paratransit service providers, and consumers form the STMAs membership.

To fulfill its mission, the PAC engages in many activities including the following:

  • Makes recommendations on funding proposals for paratransit projects
  • Reviews and monitors transportation services provided to the elderly and disabled
  • Sponsors workshops to educate and inform on transportation issues and needs
  • Provides a forum for ongoing coordination among paratransit funding and provider agencies
  • Proposes planning policies
