The Metro South Study will take approximately two years to complete. Because this is a federal study, specific guidelines outlined by the Federal Transit Administration must be followed. Every step of the way, your input will be an important factor. When viewing the timeline, click on each milestone for an explanation of what will happen during that stage of the study.

During the Detailed Definition of Alternatives, the most promising alignments are studied in greater detail in terms of engineering and land use planning. Much of the land use work will focus on how much development potential stations might serve.
