The Metro South Study will conclude with a formal public hearing on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with presentations at 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The public hearing will be held at Holiday Inn South County at 6921 South Lindbergh Blvd. at I-55.
The hearing is an opportunity for citizens to comment formally on the Daft
Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). The DEIS is a complete record of the study’s process
and results and provides a comparison of the alternatives developed to address the study area’s
transportation problems. It includes an analysis of the cost and benefits of each alternative,
as well as the transportation, social, economic, and environmental impacts. The DEIS will be
available from November 14, 2005-January 6, 2006 on the web site under reports and at the following information sites:
