All estimates were calculated using Larson-Davis Acoustic Counters. These counters have been in use for the full 1996 operations year. These counters are more efficient and provide greater accuracy than the RENS counters previously used. Rounding may cause slight differences in total amounts.

*Operations per Based Aircraft is above average for Washington Memorial Airport because of the large amount of aircraft operations performed by students based out of Spirit of St. Louis Airport

Notes:

¹Aircraft operation estimates reflect activity measured after normal ATC operating hours. This activity, when combined with ATC traffic counts results in a slightly higher total aircraft operation count for that airport, when compared to ATC reports.
