Introducing the 7th Edition of Where We Stand

On July 29th, East-West Gateway released the 7th Edition of Where We Stand: The Strategic Assessment of the St. Louis Region. Since 1992 East-West Gateway has produced Where We Stand  to ignite discussion and help guide decision making. The 7th Edition presents 222 rankings comparing St. Louis to the 50 most populated metropolitan areas. This edition includes 90 new measures on topics such as innovation, segregation, and economic opportunity. The 7th Edition, including the report and downloadable dataset, is available at www.ewgateway.org/wws.
 

FY 2016-2019 TIP and Air Quality Conformity Document
Approved by Board of Directors

At its July 29, 2015, meeting, the Board of Directors approved the FY 2016-2019 Transportation Improvement Program and related Air Quality Conformity Document. These documents have been forwarded to Federal Highway Administration for approval. They will become effective as of October 1, 2015, pending approval.

2015 Public Officials Directory Finalized

The 2015 Public Officials Directory (POD) has been finalized and is Links to Current PODavailable online. This document provides the most up-to-date information on elected and appointed municipal officials and principal staff as well as fire, ambulance and school district contacts.  It also contains federal and state elected officials for Missouri and Illinois. The POD is updated continually throughout the year as changes occur, and we recommend clicking often on the link below to get the most recent edits.   For more information or to request a printed or CD version, contact the POD staff at POD@ewgateway.org .

All Hazard Mitigation Plan 2015-2020

As required by Federal Statute, every five years East-West Gateway is required to  update the All Hazard Mitigation Plan for the 5 Missouri counties in the St. Louis region and 135 participating municipalities and 50 school districts (each county in Illinois prepares its own plan). The new plan is now ready for review by the federal and state emergency management agencies.  More Info and Plan...|
