Transportation Alternatives Program

The Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) provides funding for on- and off-road pedestrian and bicycle facilities, infrastructure projects for improving non-driver access to public transportation and enhanced mobility, community improvement activities, environmental mitigation, and safe routes to school projects. TAP applications will be available online on April 23, 2014, and are due July 31, 2014.  More Info...

Lower Meramec Watershed

In 2010, the Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources commissioned East-West Gateway,  to develop a nine-element watershed plan. The Meramec River was identified as the region’s number one priority river and put the focus on the lower Meramec watershed area.   This new watershed plan creates a long-term framework for restoring the three subwatersheds that are designated as degraded streams and protecting the healthy streams.
