Section 5310 Call for Projects

East-West Gateway is now accepting applications for funding consideration through the Section 5310 program.Section 5310 provides federal funding to improve transportation for seniors and people with disabilities.  More Info...

NOTE:  The original due date for Section 5310 applications was January 13, 2017.  However, due to the probability of inclement weather on Friday, the deadline has been extended until 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 17.

STARRS Offering Free NIMS Training
for Elected Officials, Department Heads

To help ensure the region is prepared for the next disaster, the St. Louis Area Regional Response System (STARRS) will be holding free training courses on the National Incident Management System (NIMS) during the first half of 2017. All elected officials and department heads who have not received NIMS training in the last five years should attend this course. The training consists of a single three-hour session, which will be offered in the evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. To accommodate attendees from throughout the region, the locations will vary from month to month. Our Missouri Waters, Lower Missouri River Workshop
January 18, 2017, 1:30-4 p.m.
at the St. Charles County Government Center 

This is the first of six meetings that will focus on the Missouri River and its tributaries from Herman, MO to the Confluence. Representatives from local governments, sewer districts and water districts, levee districts, soil and water districts, and recreation interests are especially encouraged to attend to share local issues and concerns and explore ways to work together.  For more information, contact info@ewgateway.org. Surface Transportation Block Grant Program – Suballocated and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program

East-West Gateway is now accepting applications for Surface Transportation Block Grant Program-Suballocated (STP-S) and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ).  STP-S and CMAQ funds are available in the Missouri and Illinois portions of the St. Louis region.  Applications are due Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 4 PM.  More Info...
