Introduction:

This report provides information about existing conditions in the Daniel Boone Study Area for both the recent past as well as projections to the year 2020.  This information is organized into sections covering land use, demographics, travel patterns, the environment and characteristics of the surface transportation system in the Study Area.  This information will be used to assist the study team in developing a detailed understanding of transportation related issues in the Study Area through the year 2020, the planning horizon for the Major Transportation Investment Analysis (MTIA) being conducted for this Study Area.
