Our e-mail updates track legislative and regulatory developments that could potentially impact brownfields revitalization. They contain information about what is happening at the federal level as well as information specific to Missouri, Illinois, and communities in the St. Louis region. 

Legislative Updates

• July 15, 2003
• This Brownfields Update contains 1) information on several federal bills that we recently began tracking, 2) updates on bills that are moving along, and 3) regulatory developments on both the federal and state levels.
• June 02, 2003
• The Missouri and Illinois state legislative sessions ended recently. This update contains a "2003 Legislative Wrap-Up" as well as an update on what is happening with federal bills that we have been tracking. 
   
• April 18, 2003
• Within the past few weeks, there have been hearings on several of the bills that we have been tracking. This update also contains new information about the federal "all appropriate inquiry" rulemaking process. Also, despite the economy, an exciting, new grant program has been proposed.

• This email update tracks proposed legislation and regulatory changes in the arena of urban redevelopment, focusing on brownfields programs, in the federal, Missouri, and Illinois governments.

• Recent actions are highlighted for bills that were profiled in the Jan. 31st update.  This update also includes several new bills as well as information on the U.S. EPA's process for creating site assessment standards.
